What beam clamp should I use if the beam is sloped or angled?
EzyStrut offer a full range of clamps for various styles of beams; EF13000 for Purlins, EBC Series and the EF21000 clamps for 'I' beams etc., but if your beam is sloped or angled, then the E2675 and E2676 beam clamps are for you.

These clamps offer three assembly alternatives to ensure the threaded rod is always hanging perfectly vertically. See further details on the E2675 Product Page.

What is the difference between Hot Dip Galvanised and Zinc Plated finishes?
Hot Dip Galvanised finishes are more durable than zinc plated. Click here for more detail.

What does working load mean?
Working load refers to the safe amount of load that a product can be put under. The working load is usually calculated by dividing the maximum load by a nominated safety factor.

How do I become an EzyStrut customer?
To set up an account with us simply download our account set up form and return it to us for processing. You can also purchase our products by credit card, eftpos or check without having an account.

I don't have an account, can I purchase direct from EzyStrut?
Yes. Without a trade account you can purchase our products by credit card, eftpos or check.

Can I order EzyStrut products online?
At this stage you can't order products online, however, you can select products online and view a list price quote for those items. You will then be sent an actual quote based on discount.

Are parts orders subject to minimum order charges?

For metropolitan deliveries over $100 there is no delivery charge. For non-metropolitan deliveries, charges will depend on individual account terms and agreements.

How can I determine what size clamps suit my desired size pipe?
The outside inside diameter of the pipe clamp must match the outside diameter of the pipe. For information on nominal sizes click here.

What is NEMA?
National Electric Manufacturers Association (NEMA). This association is comprised of USA manufacturers. The construction industry in Australia and NZ usually considers NEMA publications as a guide in installing cable support equipment.

What is the difference between GB & HDG?
GB is the abbreviation used for galvabond. To create GB, a pre-galvanised coating is applied to the steel during manufacturing to AS1397. HDG is the abbreviation used for hot dipped galvanising where the product is completely immersed in molten zinc to AS4680 to gain its coating.

What does N1, 2 &3 mean?
These are the loading capacities of cable ladder support systems in accordance with the NEMA publication.

What is the thickness of your ladder?
The side rail thickness of our cable ladders is 1.6mm.

What is the difference between ladder and tray?
Ladder sections normally have welded rungs spaced at 300mm intervals over a 3 or 6 meter span, whereas, tray systems are normally continually hard tool pressed to form a symmetrical pattern over 2.4 to 3 meter spans.

What is laddertray?
Laddertray is a generic term for our 3-meter sections of EzyTray and ET3 trays.

How peaked are our peaked covers?
Approximately 15 degrees.

What is the difference between ET3 and ET?
ET or EzyTrays are nominally 3 meters long and exactly 150/300/450/600mm wide and 45mm high, whereas, the ET3 family is slightly bigger and features more cable securing positions.

What lengths do your covers, Ezytray, ET3 & ET5 tray, N1, N2 and Nema 3 ladder come in?
EzyTray - 3 meters.
ET3 & ET5 tray - 3 meters.
N1 - 3 meters and 6 meters, which are against firm orders only.
N2 and Nema 3 ladder - 6 meters and 3 meters, which are against firm orders only.

Is your ladder and tray compatible with Unistrut?
Yes, all EzyStrut ladder and tray is comparable to Unistruts.

What pack quantities do your channel nuts, bolts, beam clamps and threaded rod come in?
Channel nuts - 100.
Bolts - 100.
Beam clamps - 20.
Threaded rod - 10.
